Finals update, random farm animals and a fun wedding!

This past week was finals for both BYU and UVU, so basically all of the time I wasn't working I was studying. These past finals were the first ones I have ever taken in my program, and I was so nervous for them! My last final was on Thursday, and Blake's last one was friday! THE SEMESTER IS OVER!!! We are so excited to be spending christmas here (hopefully it snows again!) and then fly out to Megan's wedding on the 2nd.

Speaking of weddings, Blake and I got to go to our good friend Tanner's wedding today! The Manti Temple is absolutely gorgeous, but it's also out in the middle of farmland. Blake and I were driving there and we had to stop for like fifteen minutes because there were literally hundreds of sheep blocking the road!

Seriously, I went from never seeing a sheep in my life to seeing hundreds at once!

We were driving so close to them, I probably could've reached out my window and touched one!

Anyway, the wedding was absolutely gorgeous, and Ali and Tanner are such a beautiful couple. Not to mention that the Manti Temple is the most unique temple I have ever seen!

It kind of looks like a castle!

This is probably my favorite picture of all the groomsmen! So funny!

Once again can I point out how photogenic Blake is? It's not fair.

I think this is the brides younger sister? It was a super cute moment, I'm glad I snapped a pic of it.

Here are some pictures from the reception!

This is them cutting the cake!

They had a hot chocolate bar and it was so good!

And of course, Blake being a groomsman and all, we HAD to help decorate the car. That's all I'll say about that. :)

Congratulations Tanner and Ali!!!

Thank you guys for reading! I'm hoping to get a Christmas post soon, so be sure to check back!

The first snow!

Hello! It's been a while! I hope you all have been doing well and are enjoying this holiday season!! Sorry I haven't posted anything in the past few months, life just got so crazy. We finally got some snow here! Blake was in our living room sunday morning and he started screaming and I thought something was wrong so I ran in and he's all dancing around and singing christmas songs! Needless to say, we were stoked.

Blake is so photogenic.

We recently took a road trip to Cali to visit Blake's fam for thanksgiving, and it was the best time ever! I seriously loved spending time there, the Peels are so fun to be with! Not to mention the food was amazing. We had so much fun hot tubbing, watching christmas movies and frosting cookies! The second day we were there, Blake, Jaden and I drove up to the orange groves to run around.

There are just rows and rows of these gorgeous trees! Plus it smells amazing all the time there.

It was so fun playing tag and getting lost in the groves. We spent a whole hour throwing oranges at each other and punching them out of the air!

I love these two beautiful, fun-loving humans!
An afternoon well spent :)

Thank you all for your friendship and support! I promise I will blog more in the future!

Livin it up in July!!

Maybe it was the carton of eggs that caught on fire this morning while I was making breakfast, but it hit me that I have not been camping all summer long. This is ridiculous, seeing as last summer I lived in the mountains. In a cabin, but it's still camping if you see at least eight moose, am I right?

But then I thought about all the other awesome things Blake and I did this summer. We went to see a few of our favorite bands, American Authors, The Script and One Republic.

We got to spend a lot of time with both our families this past month; my sister and her husband visited from the exotic land of Iowa, and we got a little too close to some fireworks over the fourth of July (at least we know we have quick reflexes). We also had a great time boating with them, Blake even got to go wake-boarding for the first time since he's been home from his mission. He's a champ, you couldn't even tell he hadn't done it in three and a half years.
Here's Blake, getting his tan on!!

It was so fun having them over, and I can't wait to see them again!! Good luck in Med School Spencer!

We also had Blake's fam in town, which was so fun! Bowling, rock climbing, going to museums and drinking Butter Beer. That's right. BUTTER. BEER. Magical.

Also, if any of you are in the Provo area, I highly recommend going to the Bean Museum. Contrary to popular belief, there are actually no beans there. It's a museum of stuffed animals, we're talking Lions, Tigers, Bears, the works. Here is us posing with a liger.

The Museum also has a lot of other cool animals, and lots of creepy bugs!!!

Here is a picture of my dear sweet husband, whom I hope will never be in this situation with a real hippo. Those things kill more people than sharks every year. Vicious.

We also got some exciting news as a couple this month, Blake got into business school!! Sorry for that intro mom, I realize that could have been taken several different ways.

I'm so proud of him! He is the most amazing, hardworking, and persistent person I have ever met. He also recently started a business, Premiere Airsoft. Check it out in the link below.

Premiere Airsoft

To make this full circle, if anyone is down for camping, hit us up! We promise we won't eat all the smores!! Thanks for reading guys!!

Overall though, it was such a fun experience. Thanks Mal for holding my dress!!

The sunset was BEAUTIFUL.

Look at us! Oh babe, I'd marry you again in a heartbeat!!

I am so grateful for all the work that our families did to make this possible for us. A huge shout out to my new fam, the Peels, for letting us have our reception in their own backyard, it was absolutely stunning!

Your backyard is so gorgeous!!

Also, a big thanks goes to my two AMAZING sisters, also known as the hair and make-up team. Thank you guys so much! I could not have pulled off looking that good without you two!

Love these ladies!!!
